Cobden

in South West Victoria, is a delightful dairy community of some 1500 people.

Here are some views of our town to give you a taste for this very pretty and very active community.

Cobden's Twenty20 Vision Forum

was held on Tuesday 31 August at 7pm in the Civic Hall.

The forum has given everyone a chance to be involved in driving the Vision towards real achievements.

There are extremely pleasant rural views especially to the south of Cobden.   This is rich dairy-farming country.

As a consequence we are home to one of the Key Fonterra Dairy factories in Australia, and produce export quality dried milk products.

The town has a growing industrial estate to service key manufacturing and agricultural industries in the region.

Cobden has its own Health Service known as Cobden District Health Services (or CDHS) which provides a wide range of services including Residential Aged Care at all levels, assisted living at Tandarook House, Allied Health services including dietician, physiotherapist, massage, and gym facilities.   The Health Service is also home to a thriving Men's Shed.

Tandarook House is set in the delightful garden setting of Tandarook Park

Within easy walking distance is the Senior Citizens Centre where an active group of seniors has regular activities.

Rotary Park by Lake Cobden is a popular spot for adults and children

                            The ducks love a feed!
